Hillview Nursery School...

is a unique private preschool offering an excellent education to students. Hillview was established as a school community in 1957 and we are proud to say that we have now had second and third generation students go through our program. We pride ourselves on feedback we receive from kindergarten teachers across the county, telling us that they can always spot a Hillview student in their classes.

Our Mission

Our Mission at Hillview is to build a strong foundation and love of learning. It is our hope to inspire all of our students by presenting an educationally stimulating, safe, nurturing, and creative environment.

 

Our learning is multisensory and is individualized for each learner at our school, ensuring that every child who attends is getting the foundations of education they need to be successful life long learners.  

 

Our small classes and highly experienced teachers offer continuous support, focused attention, and endless encouragement to the children, all whom are respected and accepted for who they are. We have a focus on family and community and encourage parent involvement within the school.

 

At Hillview Nursery School, our philosophy is to make the child's first educational experience a positive one by providing countless opportunities for success.  We offer a loving, caring, and stimulating, environment where children can gain confidence in themselves and the world around them.

Our History

Hillview is a non-profit preschool operated by a parent-governed Board of Directors. Founded in 1957, the school and staff are certified by the state of Pennsylvania and are affiliated with the Delaware Valley and National Association for the Education of Young Children.  Hillview Nursery School is located on a lot in a residential neighborhood in Broomall.
